Andy Shankland

Andy is a Senior Managing Director and Partner at Plane View Partners (PVP). Andy joined PVP in 2016 and during this time he has worked on numerous engagements, with a focus on aircraft evaluations and transactions. Prior to joining PVP, Andy held senior management positions at Airbus, including Senior Vice President Leasing Markets, Vice President Marketing and alsoHead of Sales and Marketing in North America.

During his Airbus career, Andy also had the opportunity to work on the commercial launch phases of a number of Airbus aircraft programs, including the A320neo, A330neo, A350XWB and A380.

From 2011 to 2015, Andy was Senior Vice President Leasing Markets for Airbus. In this role, he was in charge of all Commercial activity with world-wide lessors. Prior to this, he was Vice President Marketing for Airbus, where his responsibilities included managing the development and implementation of all customer and product marketing activities for the complete range of Airbus commercial products world-wide, including during the launch of the A320neo Family.

From 2002 to 2008, Andy had a variety of management roles at Airbus North America, including Head of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Between 1994 and 2001, Andy worked for Airbus North America in a number of marketing roles and prior to that, as Senior Airline Analyst in the Marketing Division for Airbus Industrie. Prior to joining Airbus, Andy spent five years with British Aerospace (BAe).
