Christian Sabardine

Christian is a Senior Advisor of Plane View Partners, bringing more than 30 years of aerospace industry experience in aircraft sales, transaction structuring and contract negotiation. Christian originally joined Plane View Partners in 2015 and today focuses on aircraft and engine acquisition campaigns, OEM contract negotiations and transaction restructurings for airlines and lessors worldwide. He has led or supported transactions involving hundreds of aircraft across Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, CFM, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney.

Prior to Plane View Partners, Christian spent more than 25 years with Airbus in sales, marketing, contracts and customer relations roles in Europe and the Americas. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales Contracts and Transactions for Airbus Americas and was a key member of the management team that grew Airbus’s market share in the Americas from approximately 10% to more than 50%. Over his Airbus career, Christian led or participated in more than 150 complex aircraft sales transactions, helping establish significant Airbus fleets at United, American, Delta, US Airways and numerous low-cost and Latin American carriers.

Christian brings a unique perspective to client engagements, having negotiated major aircraft and engine transactions from both the OEM and customer side of the table. His recent work includes Boeing MAX transactions, A220 and Pratt & Whitney engine procurements, widebody and narrowbody acquisition campaigns, and the restructuring of aircraft purchase agreements. This experience allows him to combine a deep understanding of OEM commercial strategy with the perspective of airlines and lessors evaluating fleet requirements, economics, contractual flexibility and long-term value.

Christian received his MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France.
