IAN GLOVER

Ian is an executive member of the team that re-established Plane View Partners in September 2026, bringing with him more than 25 years of management consulting and aviation industry experience. In recent years, Ian has focused primarily on commercial aircraft, engine, and leasing transactions, leasing operational and data improvement, and end-of-lease optimization, advising airlines, lessors, OEMs, and industry investors. Ian has partnered with clients on aircraft and engine transaction strategy and execution, commercial and operational performance improvement, and a broad range of strategic challenges — combining deep industry knowledge with robust execution to deliver results. 

Ian originally helped build Plane View Partners over more than a decade, playing an integral role in growing the firm before helping orchestrate its partnership with Seabury Aviation Partners in 2024. Prior to Plane View Partners, Ian was a Senior Vice President and Partner at Seabury Consulting, where he helped build the practice over his nine-year tenure. He was responsible for securing and executing client engagements globally, supporting the Americas regional practice, and co-managing the Consulting practice's New York head office. 

Earlier in his career, Ian worked for Daimler as an internal consultant, developing and implementing a new dealer network strategy. 

Ian received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
