Peter Fiene

Peter is an executive member of the team that re-established Plane View Partners in September 2026, bringing with him more than 25 years of aviation and aerospace industry experience. In recent years, Peter has focused primarily on airline fleet strategy, aircraft and engine transactions, and maintenance and financing initiatives, having led more than 20 aircraft and engine acquisition and restructuring campaigns. Over his career, Peter has held a variety of executive management and advisory roles, leading large-scale business turnarounds, fleet strategy and aircraft and engine procurement campaigns, commercial transformations, due diligence and M&A evaluations, and operational performance and cost improvement programs. 

Peter originally helped build Plane View Partners over nearly a decade, playing an integral role in growing the firm before helping orchestrate its partnership with Seabury Aviation Partners in 2024. Prior to Plane View Partners, Peter was an Executive Director at Seabury Consulting, a division of Seabury Aviation & Aerospace, where he helped found and develop the management consulting business that was sold to Accenture. 

Earlier in his career, Peter led a commercial and operational restructuring as Chief Operating Officer of a private-equity-owned consumer services company, worked as a Manager at Bain & Company, and served as a Project Manager in the Strategic Development Group at TACA International Airlines in El Salvador. 

Peter received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
